A Book Fair

Many renowned publishers sent their books in their stalls. Various types of books on literature, science and technology, history, geography, social science etc. were displayed and sold in the fair. The organizers of the fair, the local Panchayat, arranged for safety measures for the people and the book stalls. A team of fire fighters was sent in the fair place. Volunteers were moving around the fair to offer any sort of help to the general people and the children. The students of the neighbouring schools crowded around the stalls. People of different ages also ere seen. The fair created enthusiasm among the local people.
Prize Distribution in School
(Place name &Date): The prize distribution ceremony of your school name was held today. yourex- teacher name , an ex-teacher of the school was the chief guest and the local SDO( SDO name) graced the chair of the president. The ceremony opened with an inaugural song sung by a teacher of the school. This was followed by the speeches of the dignitaries. Then the real business of the day, the distribution of the prizes-started. The recipients of the prizes were very happy. Their guardians also appeared to be very happy. In his speech, the Headmaster of the school encouraged all the students to study sincerely and to be a good man in course of time. The function came to a close with the nice speech of the president followed by the closing song sung by some students of the school.
Independence Day Observed
(place name & Date): Independence Day was observed with different functions in and around place name this year. The main function was held in the local Community Hall. (SDO name) the local S.D.O. graced the chair of the chief guest. (chief guest name), a noted freedom fighter of the area adorned the chair of the special guest. The National flag was hoisted by Mr. Roy. The cultural function started with the inaugural song sung by a local artist. This was followed by recitation, music and speeches by the local persons. In his nice speech Mr. Sarkar recalled his action in those fiery days of the British Raj. The students of a local school staged a one act play Masterda'. The function came to an end with the closing song sung by some students of a local school. The entire programme created immense enthusiasm among the people.
A Magic Show at School
(place name & date): Yesterday a magic show was held in( your school name). Students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school and many guardians came to enjoy the show. The magician. (magician name) enchanted the spectators with superb magic. There were many items with cards, making white papers red, creating a pigeon out of papers eating blades and the like. But a few items stupefied and stunned the spectators. One was cutting a girl into two pieces and then making her stand before all. Another was vanishing of a ring of a teacher and then discovering it from a box and the like. He also vanished a young boy putting him on a big wooden box on the stage. Later on he was discovered sitting among the guests! The entire programme created enthusiasm among all concerned.
Exhibition at(your schol name)
(Place name & Date): A grand Exhibition was arranged at (your school name) recently. The Exhibition continued for four days. Yesterday was the last day. The students of the school displayed about 200 models, charts, diagrams and pictures, mainly on science and technology. Twelve rooms of the school were decorated for the purpose. Every day the Exhibition opened at 11 am. and closed at 4p.m. Ine demonstrators, all students of different classes, nicely explained various complex things of science form gravitation to atomic explosion. Most of the models attracted a huge crowd. Students from the neighbouring schools and also the grown-up men and women crowded the Exhibition The active volunteers were moving about and maintaining discipline. They were helping the viewers. The Exhibition created a great enthusiasm among the local people, especially the students. Local elders say that this type of exhibition is very much helpful for the young learners.
Blood Donation Camp by a Local Club
(Place name &,Date): A blood donation camp was organized by the local club Om Gosthi yesterday. The camp ran for four hours.(write two Doctor name) both renowned physicians conducted the camp. About fifty persons donated blood in the camp. The President of the club told this correspondent that the collected blood would be sent to the local Blood Bank. From early morning there was enthusiasm among the local people, According to (club secretary name), the secretary of the club, there was initially a long line of donours. But the doctors only selected those fifty persons after proper medical check-up. After the donation, all the donours were advised to take rest for some time. Then fruits were given to each of them. The organizers thanked the donors for their noble work. According to( organizers name) one of the organizers, such a cainp will be organized again after two months.
Rabindra Jayanti was observed in School
(Place name & Date): Rabindra Jayanti was observed with various cultural programmes at( your school name) today. The function opened with an inaugural song by some students of the school. This was followed by the garlanding of the portrait of the great poet by the Headmaster of the school. The students of the school then presented beautiful Tagore songs, recitations of Tagore poems and dances. The entire school building, especially the interior side was decorated for the day. The speeches delivered by the teachers made the audience spell-bound. The last item in the function was a dance drama presented by the students. Melodious music and rhythm filled the entire building. The most attractive thing was the calm and quiet atmosphere created by the students and the participants. "We are proud that our children read in this school", said a few guardians before others. Sweets were distributed at the end of the function.
Teachers' Day Observed.
(Place name &Date): On the occasion of the birth day of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the former president of India, Teachers' Day was observed in( your school name)yesterday. For this purpose a cultural function was arranged by the teachers and the students of the school. Sri R.K roy ,The Rashtrapati Award teacher, and ex-teacher of the school was the chief attraction of the function. In his speech he told highly of the role of teachers in building up good citizens for the future. The teachers and some senior students kept the audience, mostly students, spell bound by their speeches. Some students of senior classes taught the students of lower classes. The entire programme ran for five hours. Sweets were distributed among the students at the close of the function. Immense enthusiasm was noticed among the students who were happy to pay respect to their teachers.
Tree Plantation Programme in School
(Place name & Date): The World Environment Day was observed amidst a tree plantation programme in Seharabazar High School today. (Headmaster Name), the Headmaster of the school in told about the importance of the day and of the need for tree plantation. Then fifty saplings of vaions types of trees were distributed among the students. The planting programme ran for two hours, The teachers and senior students helped the planters in placing the saplings into the pits, soiling, watering and manuring. The entire area got a festive look. Through a microphone the Headmaster was reciting various poems and lines relating to the importance of trees and also giving instructions to the students. Everyone was aware of the greenery they were going to make for the future days. A great enthusiasm was noticed among the students and the teachers. At the end of the programme, sweets were distribuied among the students.
